Scheduled for June 14th -16th, more than 200 Lucas Oil Pro and MORR Sportsman class racers are expected at the historic Crandon International Raceway for the 26th Brush Run weekend. Sponsored by the Forest County Potawatomi Community, the Brush Run represents the first of a five-race series in the Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course League, a summer-long schedule of events that will conclude over Labor Day weekend at Crandon’s historic 50th anniversary Off-Road World Championships®.
Today’s announcement includes a comprehensive payout structure designed to offer cash payouts to Pro category racers deeper in the field, including the Pro 4, Pro 2, Pro Lite, Pro Modified SXS, and Pro Stock SXS categories. The Pro cash purse combines the regular series’ contribution plus the addition of nearly $25,000.00 from Crandon International Raceway. Living up to its “Big House” nickname, the track is also supported myriad of its grassroots Sportsman racers with another $10,000.00 in cash support for their two days of competition around Crandon’s famed 1.75-mile course.
Wisconsin native Johnny Greaves has dominated the FCP Community Cup history books, with a total of six race victories, including back-to-back wins in 2017 and 2018.
The massive gates to “Camp Crandon” will open up at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 13th, with many of the groomed grass camping spots still available. Saturday night will feature a festival-style concert that is free for fans camping at Crandon for the weekend, or those attending Saturday’s races. Crandon International will open its gates to the public all three days beginning at 8:00am.
